Looking To Rent:
One tow headed 2 year old boy.
I used to have one…10 years ago.
Now that little snuggly soft chubby faced cherub has been replaced with a gangly hairy angle faced cherub…with a small mustache!
yeah. See that man sitting beside me? That was most recently my 2 year old!
Where we used to snuggle, now we shove each other back and forth with our shoulders and elbows.
Where we used to say “I love you to the farthest star and back!” we now grunt and say “hey” to each other a lot.
Where we used to curl up together in my bed in the morning, now we…well, yeah. Now we don’t.
Where he used to tell me what a good cook I was, now he tells me what a good cook I am but asks why I don’t cook him lots more food. At all hours of the day.
Where he used to come to me to fix everything, now he fixes everything himself. And fixes everything for me, too.
Where he used to be sweetly smelling after each bath I gave him, now he really stinks to high heaven no matter what.
Where he used to play golf obsessively, now he plays basketball obsessively.
I love what my 2 year old boy has become.
12 totally rocks! But is totally different than anything I’d expected.

So, you know, if any of you have a 2 year old boy you would let me rent for, say, the next 10 years, I’d sure appreciate it!

I have an almost 11 year old boy. We're getting so close to 12, I can't believe it. And he is the baby.
